SEE WHAT YOU'LL LEARN Prepare for a career utilizing your passion for diesel technology as you work to earn Professional Level Technician status in our Finish First program.1 Take a look at a few of the courses you’ll cover in training: FREIGHTLINER FINISH FIRST COURSE 1 Learn how to access DTNA service information such as DTNAConnect, DiagnosticLink, Parts Pro and EZ Wiring. In addition, students will perform comprehensive vehicle safety and Pre-Delivery Inspections and follow the DTNA Maintenance Manual to perform recommended periodic inspection/maintenance tasks on live vehicles. Students will also perform entry-level service and repair tasks to various vehicle systems. FREIGHTLINER FINISH FIRST COURSE 2 Learn to read DTNA wiring diagrams and schematics, trace circuits, locate electrical power distribution, electrical systems and circuit routing. FREIGHTLINER FINISH FIRST COURSE 3 Identify heating system components and water control valves. Perform vehicle inspections, service, testing and repairs to live M2 vehicles. Students will perform entry-level inspection, service and repair to HVAC systems used on live DTNA vehicles. FREIGHTLINER FINISH FIRST COURSE 4 Learn to identify the different Cascadia and Western Star truck models and the fundamentals of electronics for each vehicle. Troubleshoot electronic problems and diagnose potential problems on the Cascadia and Western Star live vehicles.
