Get the training and qualifications to pursue a career as a technician career with one of the world’s leading automotive manufacturers. As a graduate of the program, it will put you on the path to earning your Master Volvo Technician status.

Volvo Tekniker Apprentice training is exclusive training. You must apply, meet certain qualifications, be interviewed, and then be accepted to become one of the Volvo elite. And if selected, tuition is paid for by VOLVO CAR USA LLC or participating dealerships in accordance with established terms of employment.¹⁵

All of your hard work culminates in 4 certifications achieving G1A certification level recognized by Volvo dealerships nationwide.

LEARN HOW TO SERVICE A WIDE RANGE OF MAKES AND MODELS

The Volvo Tekniker Apprentice Program prepares students by delivering extensive bumper-to-bumper training on year 2000 through current-model-year Volvo vehicles.

A HEAD START ON EARNING YOUR MASTER VOLVO TECHNICIAN STATUS

Graduate from the Volvo Tekniker Apprentice Program and receive the necessary training to achieve Master Technician Status in two years when working at a certified Volvo dealership.

LEARN HOW TO SERVICE HYBRID VEHICLES

Students receive bumper-to-bumper training on hybrid vehicles like the XC90 T8.

Volvo's Tekniker Apprentice Program provides practical hands-on experience on a variety of models, including the XC60.

WHY UTI

Core Program Training

Minimum high school graduate or GED
The completion of UTI's Automotive Technology curriculum or a post-secondary automotive program certified by the ASE Education Foundation

Driving Record

Valid driver’s license
No DUI convictions
No reckless driving convictions
No more than two moving violations in the past three years

Grade Point Average (GPA)

To be eligible for this training, you must maintain a GPA of at least 3.0 or higher for the duration of your core training.

Class Attendance

Students who wish to enter the Volvo Tekniker Apprentice Program should maintain no less than a 95% attendance rate in core classes.
