Based on your unique background, interests and involvements, there are likely more niche websites for scholarships that could provide you with scholarship opportunities. Here are some tips for finding them.

  • Ask a high school guidance counselor. High school guidance counselors can point students in the right direction.
  • Check out websites for organizations you support. If you’re active in a religious or community organization or volunteer for a foundation, that organization might offer scholarships.
  • Look into employer options. Your employer, as well as your parents’ employers, might offer scholarships. View their websites or contact their Human Resources departments to see what’s available.
